SUGAR STILL is an acoustic duo from Chicago that mixes violin, guitar, and soaring vocal harmonies with americana, blues, and gypsy jazz. Sarah Blick, a conservatory trained violinist and vocalist has teamed up with veteran performer Charlie Cheney, who has written and performed with Jackson Browne, Victoria Williams, and Freedy Johnston, and toured 49 states and Europe. Sugar Still is currently touring in support of their new holiday album “Sugar & Spice" and their debut album “Balance" released in June 2015. Their stage rapport is witty, funny, heartfelt, and undeniable as they weave stories of love, sex, heartbreak, loss, and betrayal.

Charlie & Sarah quickly discovered they shared a love of americana, gypsy jazz, roots blues, and story songs filled with loss and regret. In the 10 months since, they’ve co-written dozens of songs, played over 60 shows across 12 states, released their debut album “Balance", and are now releasing a holiday album called “Sugar and Spice” just in time for your holiday festivities. In late February 2016 they begin a tour of the entire outer border of the lower 48 states, from Seattle to San Diego, along the Mexican border to Houston, through New Orleans, down to the Florida Keys, up the east coast past DC, Philly, NYC, and Boston, and across the length of the Canadian border back once more to the farthest corners of the great Northwest.

THE EVANGENITALS boast one of the most eclectic resumes in the indie music world. As live performers, they’ve built a fiercely loyal following through a thousand shows at clubs, coffee houses and festivals. They’ve appeared at Scotland’s prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on big and small stages, and on tour throughout most of the U.S. Their shows are notable for music that can be bawdy and rollicking in one moment, and, in the next, sufficiently mysterious and haunting to make the rowdiest of beer brawlers pause, turn toward the stage and listen.

The group’s current lineup consists of principal writer/vocalist Juli Crockett, gospel/jazz singer Lisa Dee, keyboardist Michael Feldman, bassist Joey Maramba, Andrea Baker on fiddle, Daniel Mark on mandolin, Danny Graziani on fiddle and harmonica, and an ensemble of rotating drummers including George Bernardo (Cash’d Out) and princess Frank (Killsonic).

Having spent the better part of a decade navigating the choppy waters of the Southern California indie rock world, the Evangenitals have turned their considerable creative attentions to the greatest seagoing adventure of them all. Moby Dick: or, The Album, the band’s debut album with Fluff & Gravy Records (March 18. 2014), is a musical swirl of immaculately crafted songs, each interpreting an aspect of Melville’s masterpiece with an approach that tacks between intricate arrangement and the deceptively simple country-inflected tunes for which the band is best known. At times the songs are lushly poetic, at others, coarsely powerful. They are as infectious as they are ambitious, filled with humor, insight, mystery and wonder.
